Join The Friends (or renew your subscription)

We are seeking new members, not only in the UK and United States, but all over the world. You can join us today (or renew your membership) using the options below. As of May 2025, we only accept payment via PayPal.

Members receive hardback numbered editions of our journal, Faunus (twice yearly), Machenalia: our printed newsletter and an invitation to The Friends annual meeting & dinner, and new for 2025, members will also be able to access the Friends Area - a hidden section of this website, where you will find digital exclusives, including the compelete Faunus archive, available for the first time in downloadble, PDF format. There has never been a better time to become a member.

Membership Period

All memberships run on a calendar-year basis, from January to December, regardless of when you join. If you join partway through the year — for example in August — your membership will still run until the end of December, and you will need to renew again in January to continue your membership. Memberships do not run for a rolling twelve months from your sign-up date. We encourage anyone joining later in the year to bear this in mind before completing their purchase.

Your subscription covers two mailings. If you join after the first mailing of the year has already been sent out, we will send it to you separately. If you join after both mailings have been sent out, we will treat your membership as for the following year and you will get two mailings in that year.
